King Hussein Cancer Center is the leading comprehensive Cancer Center in the Middle East, it provides state-of-the art cancer treatment and awareness to patients in Jordan & Middle East.
This project was divided into two sub-projects:
Chemotherapy Medicine pharmacy: The first of its kind in the Middle East.
New Emergency Entrance.
The scope of work for TECCO included civil and electromechanical works.
Civil scope of work: comprised; block works, plastering, high quality non-scratch anti-bacterial epoxy paint, decorative works (Gypsum board and metal ceilings), fire resistant doors, vinyl flooring (antistatic and conductive), sliding and swing automatic doors.
The Emergency entrance project included erecting a two story steel structure skeleton and connecting it to the existing building, in addition to finishing works for the steel skeleton which includes: block works, plastering, anti-bacterial & anti-fungus paint, decorative works, double glazed low E curtain walls, alucobond cladding, crash rails, conductive/antistatic vinyl and parquet floors.
External and landscaping works included; reinforced concrete walls with timber panels cladding and stamped concrete ramp, wall to wall expansion joints, floor to floor expansion joints
The electricomechanical scope of work: included, telephone and data systems, lighting fixtures rated IP65, power distribution panels, fire alarm system, CCTV system, public address, power and data sockets, access control system, AC equipment with thermostats and differential pressure control (assuring negative pressure in the medicine preparation area for zero gas leakage).
