Although small in size investment bank – Abdoun branch was one of the most challenging yet interesting projects TECCO successfully completed in 2013. As investment bank thrives to present its customers with modern world class banking services a complete electrical and mechanical systems’ infrastructure has to be available at every branch in order to provide such services. Abdoun Branch has a wide range of today’s most advanced electrical/mechanical systems integrated together in many complex ways for a secure, smooth, fast and effective operation of the branch.

Mechanical scope of work

• Drainage and rain water system: this system was exceptionally challenging as water table was relatively high and in heavy rain conditions ground water leaked from beneath the building’s foundations and got into the basement. Thus a network of perforated HDPE 6’ pipes was installed all around the building’s foundations, 10 external drainage manholes, internal upvc pipes, stainless steel floor drains, two sun pits, and three sets of grundfos (duty & standby ) submersible pumps.

• Cold and hot water system: PPR pipes, water distribution cabinets including copper fittings and pex pipes ( cross linked polyethylene), galvanized cold water tanks, grundfos booster pump and pressure vessel, ideal standard wash basins,  mixers and wall mounted water closet, electric water heater.

• HVAC system: Samsung VRF (two outdoor and nine indoor units with associated thermostats) with copper and condensate pipe networks, three samsung split units, duct network (including fresh air and exhaust fans, volume dampers, grills and linear slot diffusers).

• Firefighting system : Grunfos fire fighting pump, pressure vessel, fire fighting water tanks, seamless steel pipes, recessed wall mounted fire hose real cabinets, fm200 fire fighting system for server, it,cctv control room and bank safe.

Electrical scope of work

• Power system: Main distribution panel board (mdb) with kwhm, sub-main and final distribution panel boards, control panel for normal power supply and emergency power supply, power feeders including multi core cables and cable trays for all distribution panel boards. Power installation including; isolators for mechanical equipment, power socket outlets and multi-compartment floor boxes. 
• In addition, the works included a cummins generator with an external weather proof, sand proof shell and an automatic transfer switch (ats) of 20kva. 
• Finally static uninterruptible power supply unit (ups) including; batteries, charger, batteries, charger, inverter, cables and manual by pass switch 15kva.

• Lighting System: various lighting fixtures, cabling, termination and accessories. 

• Earthing system: Earthing system for all electrical systems.

• CCTV system : (pelco) fully covering the vicinity internally and externally; 45 fixed cameras and the supporting 3 set DVR including full integration with the access door system and security system.

• digital telephone system : 60 outlet with papx.

• Data system : Two wireless internet networks and 80 outlets wire access points.

• Access control system: 10 doors equipped with kantech proximity readers and electronic locks, with full integration hardware and software to CCTV and security system and interface with fire alarm system and fm200. Although the system is specified as a stand-alone system, it is capable of being fully integrated and communicate with remote security systems and stations. Failure of any interconnecting software hardware/protocol between this system and any other remote systems or stations shall not render any of the two systems inoperative as a "stand-alone system".

• Security system:  honeywell complete security system including main security panel, infrared motion detector, magnetic contact, siren, auto-dialer and all devices needed, interface with fire alarm and full integration with access and cctv.

• Smatv system: The ploytron system consists of 3 satellite dishes mounted on the roof of the bank. The dishes will receive the signal from the hotbird, arabsat, and nilesat transponders, amplify the signal, and send it to a modular head end that will be located at the computer room.  The digital satellite modules will be programmed to receive the channels specified from the operator; the main head end will mix the channels together, and send the mixed output to a trunk line amplifier.  This amplifier will increase the signal level in-order to drive the distribution network. The distribution network will consist of new rg6/u & rg11/u coaxial cables, distribution amplifiers, splitters, and tv socket outlets with built-in tap-off units to equalize the signal level at each outlet.

• Fire alarm system:  honeywell system with modular construction and allows for the easy upgrading and addition of future addressable loops, detectors, nacs, and supervised audio evacuation system.

• Queue management system:Empty conduits only for queue system including all necessary fixing,' boxes and conduits, complete for counter display for queue system ,counter  terminal for queue system ,ticket print, queue management system server,   main display for queue system, queue management loudspeaker.
