As part of its efforts to support the lives of local and Syrian refugee communities in the North and West of Jordan. UNHCR through IRD undertakes deep water wells projects in the area. As TECCO’s technical capabilities and resources perfectly fit such projects. As well as TECCO’s ability to mobilize promptly to any area of Jordan and finish emergency projects within an extremely tight timeline. IRD trusted TECCO with a project involving rehabilitation of three wells.The scope of works included the following:
Well rehabilitation works:

CCTV camera inspection.

Wire brushing.

Development by air.

Surge block.

Acidification.

Well pump testing.
Mechanical works:

Hydraulic design and Friction loss calculations,

Two (Q/H=20/470 & 50/450) Submersible pump sets with riser pipes and accessories,

Well head works including schedule 80 API 5L seamless pipes with fittings & Valves (double acting air release valves, surge anticipator valves, gate valves, check valves, strainers and dismantling joints). As well as sand blasting and epoxy painting works for exposed pipes and cold applied bitumen on canvas for buried pipes. Finally connection to the existing main transition pipeline.
